We are so fortunate to live in a place where we can enjoy all seasons. One of my favorite ways to celebrate a new season is by incorporating it into my daily space. I so enjoy decorating for the winter holidays. I love the small white lights on my tree, the balsam scented candles lit nightly, the darker tones incorporated through pillows and blankets, a change in artwork. Providing my home with a clean and light refresh for spring is a close second. I am energized by neutral tones, fresh flowers always on the kitchen table, fresh linens on the beds. By mid-May I am antsy to bring my outside spaces back to life with planters of all sizes filled with my favorite annuals, fresh wreaths on the doors, and outdoor lanterns and blankets to encourage and invite others to spend time there with me.
